Traditional Chinese Medicine
Sun Ten recognizes health to be more than the absence of disease. Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) is rooted in balance. Our medicine aims to comprehend and treat the many ways in which the imbalance and disharmony may impair, deplete or hinder a person's vitality. Traditional Chinese Medicine is a complete medical system that includes herbal therapy, acupuncture, dietary therapy, and exercises in breathing, Qigong and movement, Tai chi. Treatment strategies are based on the diagnosis of patterns of signs and symptoms that reflect an imbalance. Throughout its history TCM has continually evolved to changing clinical conditions. This process continues today with the development of modern medical diagnostic techniques, and clinical research.
