This 16th century formula was developed by the physician Gong Tingxian and published in “Bring Spring Back to Myriad Diseases.” Xi Gan Ming Mu San is applied to eye disorders stemming from wind-heat, and it is used to purge heat, extinguish wind, nourish the blood, and supplement the eyes.
