Ingredients: Atractylodes root (bai zhu), Aucklandia lappa root (mu xiang), Magnolia bark (hou po), Dry Ginger root (gan jiang), Chinese licorice root (gan cao), Prepared aconitum tuber root (fu zi), Tsao-ko fruit (cao guo), Ginger root Chaenomeles fruit (mu gua), Areca peel (da fu pi), Hoelen fungus (fu ling), Jujube fruit (da zao).

This 13th century formula was developed by the Song dynasty physician Yan Yonghe. Shi Pi Yin alleviates the stagnation of body fluids and retention of water caused by a deficiency in kidney and spleen yang, by warming the yang, fortifying the spleen, and encouraging the flow of qi to alleviate dampness.
